USING INSURANCE

Medical Insurance -

We bill to all major medical insurance companies. A referral/prescription from a doctor or chiropractor is needed in order to bill your insurance. Benefits vary for each plan.

In-Network:

Regence Blue Shield -

We are a Preferred Provider for all Regence plans. A prescription is required to have on file.

Motor Vehicle Claims

If you have been in an auto accident, we can bill your auto insurance company if you have Personal Injury Protection (PIP) coverage. A referral is required from a doctor or chiropractor who has been treating you for the accident. We do not bill 3rd party claims. You will be responsible for payment if your insurance company does not cover for any reason.

Labor & Industries Claims

If you have been injured on the job, we can bill the Department of Labor & Industries. You must have an open claim with L&I and also have a referral from your doctor or chiropractor. We can request more visits after you have used the first set. In the case that L&I does not cover, we will bill your regular medical insurance, otherwise you will be responsible for payment.

Out-of-Network:

Premera Blue Cross

As of January 2, 2018, we are no longer In-Network with Premera. We will still bill them for your visits, but there will more than likely be a deductible. You are responsible for a payment of $75 every visit, then once your deductible is met, you will get the check from the insurance and will be reimbursed - so it will end up being like you just paid your copay. A referral is required.

WA Teamsters

A current referral is required, as we have to send it to your insurance.

Shasta -

No referral required.

Medicare/Medicaid -

Unfortunately, Medicare and Medicaid do not have massage coverage (this includes WA Apple Health).

Other -

We are not in-network with any other insurance companies. Some plans may have a deductible, and you will be responsible for $75 each visit until that is met. Some plans may not have massage coverage at all.
You can call your insurance company to find out about out-of-network massage therapy benefits

If you have any more questions regarding your medical insurance and/or massage therapy, please call our office at (360) 537-5914.
